Alumni of DistinctionAlumni of Distinction
Annually, the Peninsula Gateway, Rainier Pacific Bank and the Peninsula School District recognizes former graduates from PSD who have distinguished themselves in their lifetime achievements.  Nominations will be accepted for the 2009 Alumni of Distinction Awards through Friday, December 12, 2008.

Evergreen Receives State Distinguished School Award
Evergreen Elementary School has earned the 2008-09 Title I, Part A State Distinguished School Award for Significant progress in closing the achievement gap-Reading. The state winner is invited to attend the 2009 National Title I Conference in San Antonio, Texas, February 19-22, 2009 and will receive state-level recognition. In addition, Evergreen will be awarded $5,000.
